Competitive Grant Program for State-wide Health and Human Service Initiatives


News Release

    Raleigh, N.C.     The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks proposals from eligible nonprofit organizations to provide essential human services for persons with special needs such as mental illness, deafness, blindness, developmental or other disabilities; older adults; caregivers, children, adults and families at risk or experiencing challenges affecting their health and safety; and other vulnerable populations.

    Applications will be accepted in areas designated for funding through NC Session Law 2013-360, Section 12.A.2. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2014, 5:00 pm.
