Public Speaking for Seniors

Many seniors completed Dale Carnegie or other public speaking courses and our kids and grand kids would pay us for the Gift of Silence.

Some of us read How to Listen books and suffer silently through conversations about illness and medications.

The best place to listen is in Church but lately my mind wanders when I am not part of the conversation.

That is when it came to me that the best time to talk is during shared conversation with guys my own age. Also, it is best to busy yourself with game and drink.

None of the Romeo (retired old men eating out) seem to mind repeated stories and never try to verify statements.

Hope this helps you become a better public speaker.
