    .A MOIST ONSHORE FLOW OVER EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA WILL CONTINUE

    TO BRING SHOWERS WHICH WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH SATURDAY

    NIGHT. AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN WILL LEAD TO FLOODING,

    ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND NEAR SMALL CREEKS AND

    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEWPORT/MOREHEAD CITY HAS ISSUED

    A

    * FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA...

    INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING BEAUFORT...CARTERET...CRAVEN...

    MAINLAND DARE...MAINLAND ...HYDE...OUTER BANKS DARE...OUTER

    BANKS HYDE...PAMLICO...TYRRELL AND WASHINGTON.

    * THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING

    * NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE

    THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. OCCASIONAL HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL OCCUR

    AND AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN IS LIKELY WITH SOME

    HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

    CURRENT FORECASTS.

    YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE

    FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE

    PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
